A Spartans tight end is reportedly transferring to a Mid-American Conference team.
Michigan State football transfer tight end Wyatt Hook has reportedly committed to Akron, according to Chris Hummer of 247Sports. Hummer reported Hook's commitment to the Zips on Monday afternoon.
Hook was part of the Spartans' 2024 class and spent two seasons at Michigan State. He redshirted during the 2024 season and appeared in six games this past season on the Spartans' special teams units.
Hook will have three years of eligibility remaining.
