Macaulay Culkin has met with Disney about a potential ‘HOME ALONE’ sequel.

The studio is “salivating” over a potential reboot of the franchise with Culkin involved.

It's going to be his first Christmas without his Home Alone parents.

Yeah probably and the idea does nothing for us. But I really can't think of a setup that would make us want to see Kevin (or the actor) in another Home Alone. We watch the original fairly often and we've watched all the official and unofficial sequels but this seems desperate. And I find it hard to believe that anyone other than Culkin or his agent is truly salivating over the possibility of him returning.

I think they should have done the horror movie John Carpenter thing. When the guy gets out of the car to see if Maggie is dead, there's no trace of her body. Then you wonder the rest of the movie if she's going to appear or not. A little intrigue as it were.

Please be the Warner Bros. film and not the Paramount film. No one wants a shot-for-shot remake. Wouldn't that be just like the Vince Vaughn Psycho remake flop from years ago?

I rewatched 1-3 a while ago with my kids. I LOVED them as a kid, but they were kinda tough to watch as an adult. I think there's a huge opportunity to do them right. I'm hopeful here.

But I agree...don't do a shot by shot remake.
