Movie A Day: Hell Comes to Frogtown

This is for you, Arthur!

Plot: A future planet earth has been ravaged with war. Human beings are on the brink of extinction due to most people being infertile. Enter Sam Hell (played by the poor man's Patrick Swayze, Rowdy Roddy Piper) - one of the last fertile men left. He's recruited by a team of female scientists to rescue a group of fertile woman from a mutant frog king. He's given an explosive jock strap to keep him in check. The one-liners and frog parts fly as Sam raises some Hell on the hapless army of mutant frogs.

The worst part about this movie? I'm not making any part of that plot up. You have to see it to believe it - this is one of the most enjoyably bad movies I've ever experienced. This is only viewable as a backdrop during a party or after several beverages.

Love that last scene, though

1.) Was subjected to this in college late one night. I thought it must have been the alcohol but no, I tracked it down while sober and I hadn't imagined that plot.

2.) It's being released on DVD later this month (hence the reason I remembered it). Sadly, no Rowdy Roddy Piper commentary.

I can probably track it down myself, but do you happen to know what distributor is releasing it? I'm guessing Anchor Bay might be.
