Pat Cummins goes past Hardik Pandya's tally with three wickets against CSK
Captain Pat Cummins led his SRH bowling attack from the front against CSK on Monday at the M.C Chidambaram Stadium in a crucial IPL 2026 clash.
CSK were off to a fiery start with Sanju Samson hitting the SRH pacers for fun, however, Cummins got the breakthrough in the third over as he dismissed CSK's danger man.
Cummins then picked up two more wickets in his quota of 4 overs and leaked only 28 runs as SRH restricted the hosts to a modest total of 180 runs.
With three wickets in his kitty, Cummins went past Mumbai Indians and former Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya's tally of 40 wickets to become the second-highest wicket-taker of all-time as captain in the Indian Premier League.
The SRH skipper is now just 16 short of Australian legend Shane Warne, who holds the record of picking 57 wickets as RR captain.
