Hollywood (and TV studios) really seem to be whiffing on length of time between properties recently. Mortal Kombat is a distant memory by now and the sequel won't be out until next year?

I remember Mortal Kombat 1 quite fondly. The first one was only in 2021 right? That's not that long.

I just don't think 4 years is that long between movies. It isn't like we are seeing Avatar 1 and 2 here.
