They just said that Herbert hit 20.6 mph last week on one of his scrambles…. I would never have guessed that he could get over 20. Pretty crazy athleticism for a guy his size imo.

That's PST though it's only 17.6 on the east coast (-:

I feel like the Chargers have 3 receivers better than Marv? Q already has 3 TD"s, Allen has 2 I think and McConkey is better.

Some of it is Herbert of course just their receivers room is so much better than ours
I feel like the 6'6" Herbert who can literally stand there scan the whole field and see everything has a lot to do with it.

he does but Allen is a longtime pro, he's slow but he's just so good. Q is finally paying off he was always big and fast but he was a moron and he's finally figured out how to be a pro. and McConkey is just so good, great routes great hands, fast, quick.

I think if you repicked the draft now Nabers would be the first Wr picked McConkey might go 2nd? Thomas was 1 or 2 last year with Nabers but so far this year I think it's McConkey. Marv would probably be 4th behind those 3.

FYI my fantasy site is reporting Thomas has a wrist injury they didn't disclose before the game and that's why he was so bad last game,

Watch Mayfield go through his reads here. TD was his 3rd read. PLus that receiver isn't clearly open, he throws him open with the touch and ball placement.

This never happens with Kyler. Literally never. It's 1st read and run or 1st read and checkdown. His 1st reads are nearly always Marv or Trey, so if you're Mike, Dortch or Zay who are rarely the checkdown option you have an incredibly low chance of ever seeing the ball.

It's stuff like this that makes me believe this team is cursed.
Stroud sucking ever since his rookie year makes you think the Cardinals are cursed? Didn’t you know that before?

The 215
4 possessions and 4 scores so far in The early game.

Baker Mayfield has so much poise….
Baker is special. Period. He may not get the pub he deserves but every time I watch him, he plays like there is no tomorrow and I respect that from him. Our QB has more talent but clearly lacks that drive Baker has. He willed that team to win last night.
