Kouame grateful for fan support at Roland Garros​


Kouame’s time in Paris has been full of positives, not just for his results, but also for what he gained from it all. Competing as a wildcard in both singles and doubles will be an experience that sticks with him.

There’s been a lot to enjoy about Moise Kouame’s first appearance at Roland Garros. He took full advantage of his main draw wildcard by winning two matches and putting up a strong fight against Alejandro Tabilo.

Sharing pictures from his time in Paris, he wrote a heartfelt message.

“What an emotional journey! The 2026 Roland-Garros tournament will forever hold a special place in my heart.”

“First of all, I would like to thank the FFT (French Tennis Federation) for giving me the opportunity to compete in my very first Grand Slam main draw.”

“A huge thank you to my team: my coach Liam, Richard, my fitness trainer, my agent, and my sponsors. Thank you to my family for their unwavering support.”

“And of course, thank you to all of you who carried me through these three matches, whether from around the world, behind your screens, or in the stands.”

“I will be back next year with the same determination, hoping to go even further. See you soon.”

Kouame entered Roland Garros with just four ATP appearances to his name, all of which have arrived this season. Having recently reached a career-high rank of 313, the exciting young Frenchman currently finds himself at number 318.
