In our latest seven-round mock draft for the Pittsburgh Steelers, we decided to pull off two big trades to spice things up a little. First, we sent the No. 21 overall pick to the New England Patriots in exchange for the No. 38, No. 77 and No. 106 picks. Then, later in the draft after securing a top wide receiver, we sent wide receiver George Pickens to the Houston Texans for pick No. 89. Here's how the draft haul shook out.
Moving back and still getting the quarterback with the most upside in the draft is a smart move for the Steelers.
Williams is a fast riser thanks to his scheme versatility, diverse route tree and underrated athleticism. This is the move that allows the Steelers to trade Pickens.
Mukuba is one of our favorite defensive backs in the draft with his elite coverage skills.
Harvey has a three-down skillset and the type of acceleration and speed this rushing offense needs.
Huge, selfless nose tackle prospect who thrives on eating up double teams.
Lamkin's measurables don't make any sense but his game tape is as good as any guard in the draft.
Long, rangy defensive end with a great first step and closing speed.
Travis is a massive strongside offensive tackle whose film stands with any offensive tackle in the draft.
Sanders is too good of a value to pass up with his intriguing size/speed combination.
