How about another team title? Check one more box for the Mount Mansfield Cougars.

The MMU girls Nordic skiing team swept to a second Division I straight crown following the classic state championship races at Craftsbury Outdoor Center on Tuesday, Feb. 24.

Just like they did last week in freestyle, Acadia Enman claimed first in the individual classic event (16 minutes, 31.1 seconds) and Astrid Longstreth (16:41.13) seized runner-up honors before they teamed up with Pearl Page and Fiona Repp for the relay crown (30:40.1).

[Editor's note: See below for full team scores and individual/relay results].

It's the second straight year the Cougars went 1-2 in both the freestyle and classic races while claiming both relay competitions in the disciplines. Last year, Longstreth took the individual crown to Enman's second-place nod as part of a 1-2-3 MMU finish.

The Cougars finished with 51 points to runner-up St. Johnsbury's 133 points. It's MMU's fifth crown since 2015 and ninth overall in program history.

In D-I boys, Champlain Valley's William Wallace claimed the individual race in 15:40.9, while Mount Anthony picked up the team title over the Redhawks (87 to 150).

In D-II girls, Woodstock captured its first state championship in 11 years, and U-32's Claire Serrano won the individual race (16:29.3).

For D-II boys, Stowe skied to the program's first crown behind a relay win and three athletes in the top 10 (Chris Graupe, fifth; Henry Sterner, eighth; Soren Wilkens, ninth).

Jorgen Pirrung of Middlebury completed his D-II sweep of the individual races with a winning time of 14:53.9 in Tuesday's classic event.
