The 2026 MLB All-Star Game is Tuesday, July 14th. Certain players have been elected as starters for the upcoming Mid-Summer Classic, and a handful of players are finalists to represent their respective leagues. However, there will be players who fall short of making an All-Star roster. As the league heads into Week 15, here are the top 10 shortstops.

Bichette has come around after a slow start to the season. Entering the week, he is third in hits among MLB shortstops. Bichette has time for his first season in New York to be a success.
Rocchio has had an under-the-radar season. He’s been consistent on a team that wins games with pitching and defense. He will need to continue producing while superstar Jose Ramirez is out of action.
Lee has been hot over the past month. Entering the week, he is tied for fourth in home runs among MLB shortstops. He is one of the brightest hitters in Minnesota’s lineup.
Neto continues to hit for power. Entering the week, he is tied for second in home runs among MLB shortstops. He has been one of Los Angeles’ best offensive hitters since he became the team’s everyday shortstop.

The rookie continues to hit. Entering the week, he is fourth in hits among MLB shortstops. He has put his hit tool on display throughout the season. He will be a finalist for AL Rookie of the Year.
Lopez is having a great season, and it’s not getting enough notoriety. Entering the week, he leads MLB shortstops in hits. Otto Lopez needs to be a member of the NL All-Star roster.
Montgomery is having a big season. His success has helped the White Sox be at the top of the AL Central. Entering the week, he leads MLB shortstops in home runs.
De La Cruz has become one of the league’s top shortstops. Entering the week, he is fifth in home runs among MLB shortstops. He is the top offensive producer for the Cincinnati Reds.
