The 2026 MLB Draft kicked off earlier today, as the Chicago White Sox took UCLA shortstop Roch Cholowsky with the No. 1 overall pick. Milwaukee took shortstop Trey Ebel — the brother of Brewers’ 2025 No. 32 overall pick Brady Ebel — with their first pick at No. 25.
