Add three more games to Kellie Harper’s nonconference schedule for 2026.
Missouri women’s basketball has added an in-state home matchup and a two-game trip to a multi-team event in Daytona Beach, Florida, to its nonconference schedule in the 2026-27 season, according to competition contracts obtained by the Columbia Daily Tribune through an open records request.
Mizzou will face Lindenwood on Nov. 15 at Mizzou Arena, which is the first confirmed home game on the Tigers’ schedule for the upcoming campaign.
Harper’s Tigers also will play against Maine and Robert Morris on Nov. 27 and Nov. 28, respectively, in the Daytona Beach Classic over Thanksgiving weekend. Mizzou has previously played in that multi-team event, most recently in the 2023-24 season.

That means there are now five confirmed games on Mizzou’s upcoming nonconference schedule.
The Tribune previously confirmed that the Tigers will face Kansas State in a neutral-site contest on Nov. 22 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. Mizzou also will play on the road at Florida State in the ACC/SEC Challenge on Dec. 3 in Tallahassee, Florida, according to a news release from the conference.
Missouri will pay Lindenwood $25,000 to play at Mizzou Arena, an arrangement commonly known as a “buy game.”
The Lions went 25-8 last season, falling just short of an NCAA Tournament berth with a loss to Western Illinois in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament championship game.
The Tigers’ fee to play in the Daytona Beach Classic, which is run by Coast 2 Coast Women’s Basketball, was $47,500. Mizzou's opponents in the MTE both finished last season with winning records. Robert Morris went 18-12 last season, and Maine went 19-13.
With five games now on the calendar, Missouri still has room to add 10 nonconference games for the 2026-27 campaign.
On Tuesday, the SEC announced the home and road designations in conference play for each of its members next season. Missouri will face Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Tennessee at Mizzou Arena. Harper’s team will travel to face Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Texas and Oklahoma next year.
