The Toronto Blue Jays selected Mississippi State baseball signee Will Brick in the 2026 MLB Draft on July 11.
He was the No. 131 overall pick in the fourth round. It has a slot value of $581,100.
Brick is a catcher from Christian Brothers in Memphis, Tennessee, who reclassified to 2026. He was ranked as the top high school catcher in the draft by MLB.com and No. 46 overall. He now must decide whether to sign with the Blue Jays or head to Mississippi State, where he won't be draft eligible again until 2029.
Brick won Tennessee's Gatorade Player of the Year in 2026 as Christian Brothers made the TSSAA Division II-AA state quarterfinals.
His MLB.com profile touts the 6-foot-2, 195-pound Brick's arm strength while noting he has room to improve as a batter with an approach that can be too passive at times.
Brick committed to MSU on Oct. 27 before coach Brian O'Connor's first season.
