Mississippi State baseball starting pitcher vs Lipscomb revealed for NCAA Tournament

STARKVILLE — Duke Stone will be Mississippi State baseball's starting pitcher against Lipscomb in the NCAA Tournament.

The Bulldogs (40-17) are hosting the Starkville Regional at Dudy Noble Field, with the first game against the Bisons (29-24) on May 29 (1 p.m., ESPN+). MSU is the No. 14 national seed, while Lipscomb is the No. 4 seed in the regional.

Lipscomb has not announced its starting pitcher.

Stone pitched four innings against Lipscomb on March 7 and didn't allow a hit or walk with six strikeouts.

Stone has a 5.69 ERA and 6-3 record in 68 innings and 14 starts. He has 92 strikeouts and 26 walks.
