Dec. 20—BEMIDJI — Minot State took control of its game against the Bemidji State women's basketball team and never relinquished it.
BSU fell 84-71 on Saturday at home. It's the third consecutive loss after starting 3-1 in NSIC play.
Bemidji State (6-6, 3-4 NSIC) was led by Evyn Eppinga, who scored a team-high 24 points. She also had a pair of assists and a steal with five rebounds. Kassandra Caron had 16 points and a team-high seven boards, while Tieryn Plasch had 13 points to finish in double digits.
Jessica Mogen had 29 points to lead all scorers. Taryn Hamling dropped 23 points for Minot State (7-7, 4-3 NSIC) as well.
