29 July 2026, Brandenburg, Sieversdorf: A view at dusk shows the low-hanging, glowing orange full moon in the dark blue sky next to the access stairs of a wind turbine tower. The full moon that occurs in July is traditionally known as the "Bockmond" (Goat Moon). Its distinctive reddish-orange hue is caused by the scattering of moonlight in the dense layers of air near the horizon.
