The Milwaukee Bucks host the Memphis Grizzlies in a matinee at Fiserv Forum on April 5, in what is the second-to-last home game of the 2025-26 season. The home finale is on April 10 against Brooklyn.

The Grizzlies are one of the few teams with a worse record than the Bucks, as they come in with a 25-52 mark and losers of three in a row. But Memphis has been about as bad as Milwaukee since the start of March, having gone 3-16. The Bucks are 30-47 and are 4-15 since March 1.

Is Giannis playing?

No.

Even after Giannis Antetokounmpospoke out publicly about being healthy on April 3, the team ruled him out fairly quickly on April 4 for the game against the Grizzlies.

Antetokounmpo and the Bucks are currently involved in a league inquiry regarding his actual health status, and if the team is keeping a healthy player sidelined against his wishes.

Antetokounmpo hyperextended, and suffered a bone bruise, in his left knee on March 15. The game against Memphis will be the 11th straight game missed and the three-week mark since the injury occurred. Only four games remain in the regular season, which ends in Philadelphia on April 12.
