If the Milwaukee Admirals are going to make a run at an American Hockey League Central Division title, they stand a good chance of clinching at home.
The 2026-27 schedule, announced Thursday, has the team playing 12 of its last 16 regular-season games at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena over the final five weeks of the season.
The opener and home opener already were announced: 6 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Rockford IceHogs and 6 p.m. Oct. 10 against the Grand Rapids Griffins at the Arena. The regular season will finish April 10 at the Chicago Wolves after four straight home games.
The Admirals have four games apiece against three out-of-division foes, as well as home-and-home series with three others.
The first of those come early with the Colorado Eagles coming to Milwaukee for games Oct. 16-17. The teams, which last met in 2023-24, then play Jan. 12-13 in Loveland, Colorado.
The Admirals play the Ontario Reign on Jan 8-9 in the Los Angeles suburb and then host Feb. 12-13. The teams have not played since 2018-19.
The Cleveland Monsters host the Admirals on Halloween weekend Oct. 30-31 and come to Milwaukee for games March 12-13.
The home-and-homes are against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (away Nov. 18, home Feb. 24), Hartford (home Nov. 21, away Feb. 2) and Providence (away Nov. 22, home March 26).
The most grueling stretch may be when the Admirals play six games in 11 days from Nov. 18-28, the first five of those on the road.
