Millis an Norfolk Aggie will form a football co-op, Millis athletic director Derek Phinney announced Friday.
The two-year program will begin in the fall. Millis will serve as the host school. Norfolk Aggie previously did not offer football.
Millis went 3-7 last fall and lost five of its last six games.
"Like many small schools, Millis has faced declining roster numbers over the last few yeras," Phinney wrote in a relese. "This partnership provides much needed roster sability, ensuring the program can safely and competitively field teams."
The program has operated at only the varsity level the past two years, and the co-op will allow sub-varsity play for younger players to learn and develop.
The team will debut Septermber 12 against Blackstone-Millville.
"We are incredibly excited about this partnership and what it means for the future of football in Millis," Phinney wrote. "By bringing in Norfolk Aggie student athletes, we aren't just saving our varsity program, we are rebuilding the foundation."

It's the second Tri-Valley League co-op to form this year, after Dedham merged with Sharon in April. That team will play as Sharon in 2026, using the Eagles schedule and uniforms before switching to Dedham's schedule and branding in 2027.
Millis has a storied football history with five Super Bowl wins. The last two came in 2017 and 2016 as part of a co-op with Hopedale.
