The world's best juniors showed out Saturday at Sage Valley.

Miles Russell and Asterisk Talley made a bit of history at the 2026 Junior Invitational. Russell became the first boys champion to win back-to-back Junior Invitational titles, and Talley became the first girls winner to have multiple victories at Sage Valley.

Russell, a Florida State commit, shot 5-under 67 in the final round, including two eagles, and finished at 15 under for the tournament. His margin of victory was three over Tennessee signee Tyler Watts. U.S. Amateur champion Mason Howell came in third, finishing at 7 under.

“Rarely do I have an eagle round so to have two today is pretty special,” Russell said. "It's pretty special. Especially at a place like this that has so much class. You're just lucky to be here. So, to be able to do it back to back, it's quite an honor."

For Talley, she matched Russell with a 5-under 67 total in the final round, finishing at 5 under for the week. Her margin of victory was also three shots.

"It feels great. It gives me a lot of confidence on such a tough course to be able to do it twice," Talley said. "It's just so nice to win here again. I love the atmosphere here so it's nice to win again."

For both Russell and Talley, who have become good friends, they were thrilled to see each other win.

"It's pretty cool," Russell said. "Probably out of all the girls, I probably know her the most just from Junior Ryder Cup. It's pretty cool to see her win it again and I'm just glad I didn't mess that up."

Added Talley: "Me and Miles are good friends so I think it's nice for us to win this tournament. I know it gives us both a lot of confidence so I mean we just had a great week this week and I think we're going to take that with us for the next couple of tournaments."
