Michigan basketball recruit Quinn Costello stays put

When Dusty May left Michigan basketball and Mike Boynton Jr. took over as interim head coach, the expectation was that the Wolverines could face a mass exodus, as it is with pretty much any program that loses a high-caliber, national championship coach. However, entering Thursday, the maize and blue only had two players who hadn't declared their intentions to stay -- whether they were returning players, incoming recruits or transfers.

And then there was one.

On Thursday, the final recruit remaining announced that he will still be in Ann Arbor this fall and winter, as former four-star forward Quinn Costello revealed through Rivals' Quinn Costello reaffirmed his pledge to Michigan basketball.

With Costello remaining with the program, all six incoming recruits -- Brandon McCoy Jr., Joseph Hartman, Lincoln Cosby, Malachi Brown, and Marcus Moller -- have announced their intentions to remain Wolverines.

Now the only player who has not shared their future plans is currently injured guard LJ Cason, who tore his ACL late in the season a year ago and was expected to redshirt this upcoming year before the NCAA's five-for-five ruling came down.
