Michigan basketball got a flurry of signed recruits revealing their intentions to stay with the program following Dusty May's departure over the weekend, and the good news keeps coming for the Wolverines. And for one player, the news of late has been double, to some degree.
International signee Marcus Moller was diagnosed with and subsequently treated for cancer over the offseason, and the three-star ultimately was found to be cancer-free. But, with his expected head coach Dusty May having abruptly left the program two weeks ago, Moller, like the rest of his 2026 compadres, had a decision to make.
On Monday, he revealed -- through Rivals' Joe Tipton -- that he has ultimately decided to remain with the program.
Moller joins Lincoln Cosby, Brandon McCoy Jr., Malachi Brown, and Joseph Hartman, reaffirming his commitment to stay with the Michigan Wolverines. The only signee that Michigan basketball is awaiting word from is four-star forward Quinn Costello. As far as transfers are concerned, all three have shared that they intend to play for the maize and blue under interim head coach Mike Boynton Jr.
