The 20-0 Miami University RedHawks are ranked No. 24 in the latest AP Top 25 men's college basketball poll released Jan. 26, up from 25th last week.

One week ago, the RedHawks were ranked among the poll's top 25 teams for the first time since the 1998-99 season.

The RedHawks received 140 votes in the new poll. MU won 107-101 in overtime at Kent State in the team's only game of the past week. It was MU's eighth Mid-American Conference win of the season.

MU, No. 1 Arizona and No. 5 Nebraska are the only three undefeated men's basketball teams remaining this season in Div. I.

The RedHawks' next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 27, against UMass on ESPNU.

The RedHawks were ranked 25th in the poll Feb. 15, 1999. Coached by Charlie Coles and led by Wally Szczerbiak, the '98-99 team was 24-8 and won two NCAA tournament games before falling to Kentucky in the Sweet 16.
