Eau Claire Memorial standout Norah Kling has made her decision. The multi-sport athlete plans to play basketball in college.
The sophomore announced on social media that she has committed to UW-Green Bay at the NCAA Division I level. She posted this on X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday afternoon:
"Committed!!!! Thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this point! And thank you coach Kayla and the Green Bay coaching staff for believing in me!"
Kling, who also is an all-state soccer player, held three Division I offers in basketball prior to her sophomore season.
Kling, a versatile 5-foot-10 guard, has been a two-year starter in basketball for the Old Abes. She helped lead Memorial to the sectional finals as a freshman.
Kling's sophomore season in basketball was cut short after she suffered a torn ACL and meniscus in her left knee in early February. She faces a 9-12 month recovery from the injury.
Kling still earned all-conference and honorable mention all-state honors this past season in basketball. She hopes to return to the court in December.
Kling also excels in volleyball as a key member of the Old Abes.
