The Wisconsin Badgers didn't just hit a home run; they hit a grand slam when they added Mekhi Williams.
Williams, a four-star defensive back out of Florida, is the state's highest-rated safety.
He immediately became the Badgers' top recruit, one that Luke Fickell and company had to work overtime for to flip from Florida State.
According to Jesse Temple, Williams became "the highest-rated Badgers DB out of high school in 26 years."
Wisconsin managed to flip Williams in just three days. He decommitted from the Seminoles on Sunday, May 31, and committed to the Badgers on Wednesday, June 3.
Should Williams stick with this commitment and come to Madison, he'll be the team's highest-rated defensive back since Brett Bell in 2001.
Overall, he's the team's fourth commitment in the last four days, and Wisconsin couldn't possibly be hotter as they re-entered 247Sports top 15 in the recruiting rankings.
