MINERAL RIDGE, Ohio (WKBN) – McDonald boys basketball saw the season come to an end after an 80-70 loss to Hillsdale in the Division VII regional championship at Mineral Ridge on Saturday.
McDonald’s sophomore Josh Krumpak scored a team-high 18 points.
The Blue Devils’ season comes to a close at 23-4, the most wins for the program since 2021.
The Falcons were led in scoring by Lowen Ferguson and Hayden McFadden as they improve to 19-7 overall after a ninth straight win.
Next, Hillsdale will take on top-seed Calvert in the regional semifinal on March 10.
