BALTIMORE - Yankees starter Max Fried lasted just three innings Wednesday afternoon at Camden Yards, exiting with the Orioles ahead 3-0.

He left the game with left elbow posterior soreness and is due to undergo imaging in New York on Thursday, where he will be examined by Yankees physician, Dr. Christopher Ahmad.

Fried threw 61 pitches in his shortest start of the season (10 starts). He was replaced by Paul Blackburn, who began warming up after the O's scored two runs on two hits - including a bunt single - and a walk.

On the bunt single by Blaze Alexander, Fried fielded the ball and contorted himself in making an off-balance, wide throw to first base that resulted in an extra base for Alexander and an error on Fried.
