With the Masters soon to begin, the coveted tradition of the Masters Champions Dinner is set to commence.

In this display of good eats, the reigning champion returns to curate a menu for each of his fellow champs. This tradition began with Ben Hogan back in 1952.

This year, it's Rory McIlroy's turn to serve the green jacket-donning men. It's time to take a look at what they'll be eating on Tuesday night.

Masters Champions Dinner menu 2026​


It is defending champ Rory McIlroy's turn to cater the menu for this year's Masters Champions Dinner. He infused luxury meats alongside a combination of British and Irish flavors.

  • Appetizers: Grilled elk sliders, peach & ricotta flatbread, rock shrimp tempura and bacon-wrapped dates
  • First Course: Yellowfin tuna carpaccio
  • Main Course: Choice of wagyu filet mignon or seared salmon (served with traditional Irish champ, also known as mashed potatoes)
  • Dessert: Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream

Despite close calls in 2022 and 2015, last year was McIlroy's first Masters title. This means that he's curating a Champions Dinner menu for the first time.

What was served at the 2025 Masters Champions Dinner?​


Last year's dinner came courtesy of Scottie Scheffler. In his second time curating the Masters dinner menu, Scheffler kept things virtually the same.

The notable exemption was a tortilla soup that he served in 2023, which was far too spicy for some diners. In a quote to Alan Bastable of Golf.com, 2016 Master Champion Danny Willett said, "I ate it, but I did look over at Scottie and ask if he was trying to kill us."

  • Appetizers: Cheeseburger sliders, served Scottie-style, firecracker shrimp
  • First Course: Texas-style chili
  • Main Course: Choice of wood-fired cowboy ribeye or blackened redfish, with a plethora of southern barbecue staples, including macaroni & cheese and jalapeno creamed corn.
  • Dessert: Warm chocolate chip skillet cookie, served with vanilla ice cream

Who pays for the Masters Champions Dinner?​


As is tradition in the golf world, last year's champion foots the bill. In this case, McIlroy is on the hook for about $318 per person, according to a Sportsbook Review analysis.
