NIXA, Mo–The Nixa Invitational continued Friday night.
The host Eagles taking on Marquette out of the St. Louis area.
The Mustangs weren’t intimidated by the Eagles nest and raced out to a six point lead after Preston Loehr knocks down this three from the wing.
But right before the half, Nixa trailed by three, when Braylon Smith buried a triple of his own to tie the game at 33.
It was tied at 48 late in the third quarter, but then the Mustangs pulled away down the stretch to upset the host Eagles, 81-72.
