Now, do the Titans or Jets trade up with the Saints for Bush?

Titans? No
The Jets would trade their first born for Reggie Bush.

The question is does NO stay put and take him there

i hope that the 49ers don't trade up to get reggie bush. the 49ers have the number 5 and number 22 pick in the draft. i believe that is more than enough to get reggie bush. the 49ers could even throw in kevin barrlow for good measure. this really sucks from this stand point. having reggie bush in the nfc west. unless he with the cardinals i don't want him in the nfc west.

(a) They have 6 not 5
(b) They know they need a hell of a lot of players

However this may effect them taking VD, especially if someone like D'Brick or AJ Hawk falls

The 49ers don't have enough juice to trade with anyone before the Jets. How this will shake out has yet to be seen. The Top 4 players or so have been locked in stone for a while. It only changes things if someone who was supposed to take one of the QBs takes someone else instead, or if someone who wanted someone else (like AJ Hawk) suddenly takes a QB.

Texas sign DE Williams

This is from the GBN report and I so, here goes the shuffle board for the Draft.

Here is the Link: http://www.gbnreport.com/

April 28
(8:30 PM):Breaking Report: Texans sign DE Williams... In a move that will certainly shake up the 2006 draft, there are reports that Houston has signed North Carolina State DE Mario Williams and will make him the first player selected at tomorrow's draft. For weeks, of course, the Texans had been believed to want to take USC RB Reggie Bush, however, talks between the Texans and Bush stalled in recent days. With Bush still available for the 2nd pick, there is specualtion that New Orleans could get some late calls about a possible trade up. Stay tuned!

i don't know where you came up with that the 49ers don't have enough juice. they sure do have enough juice to do what they want. having the number 6(thanks for the correction) and number 22 is enough juice to do the deal. maybe swap some 2nd day picks and it is a done deal. the jets seem to be in the run for bush. i hope that scenario comes true more the 49ers scenario. bush is a game breaker. the 49ers would be a fool not to try to do this. the texans are a fool for not drafting bush.

6 and 22 isn't enough to move up to Number 2. They still need to add a 3rd rounder maybe even a 2nd rounder to make it about even.

They aren't making the trade but the Jets and possibly GB could

They have to be going crazy in NO!!

If this is true, can you believe adding Brees AND Bush in the same offseason? That would be a pretty nice homecoming present for Saints fans.

This draft is ridiculous. We're going to get an absolute stud at 10.

I doubt the Saints would draft Bush with Deuce McAllister on the roster. They'll listen to all offers and take in a bundle in a trade down if they want.

They're sitting pretty, that's for sure. But I still take Bush. With Deuce as the starter you can pick your sports with Reggie and split him out wide a lot. I think he'd dominate in a dome.

Do you here that sound.

It is the sound of the Jets picking up the phone giving NO a call.

And NO will take it, as they will still get Hawk(whom they are said to covet), Ferguson, and Williams.

If the Jets trade up - that could mean Lienart slides all the way to us.

Kinda hard to pick @ 4, the guy who just went Number 1 overall ;)

And that means a QB will fall, fall, fall, if that's what we want.

Reggie Bush would be a great player for the Jets to get. The question is whether the Jets have the picks to go up and get it.

Newest projection:

HOU - M. Williams, DE
NYJ - R. Bush, RB
TEN - V. Young, QB
NO - A.J. Hawk, LB
GB - V. Davis, TE
SF - D. Ferguson, T
OAK - M. Huff, S
DET - H. Hgata (?)
