Manchester City fitness coach Lorenzo Buenaventura and goalkeeper coach Xabi Mancisidor are set to leave the club this summer, as per a new report.

The appointment of Hugo Viana as City sporting director last summer kickstarted a revamp of personnel on and off the pitch at the Etihad Stadium, starting with Pep Guardiola‘s managerial staff.

Guardiola brought in Pepijn LijndersJurgen Klopp‘s former assistant at Liverpool – and Kolo Toure as assistant coaches and hired James French as set-piece coach ahead of the season.

City remain in the hunt of a domestic treble in the final 10 days of their campaign, embarking on an FA Cup final against Chelsea this weekend amidst their titanic title race battle with Arsenal.

There remains great uncertainty over Guardiola’s future at the Etihad Stadium as despite being under contract till the summer of 2027, there is a growing belief in football that the Catalan could well leave Manchester City at the end of this season.

In a fresh development, Sam Lee of The Athletic has reported that City fitness coach Lorenzo Buenaventura and goalkeeping coach Xabi Mancisidor are set to leave the club this summer.
