Manchester City Are Ready To Move In For This Barcelona Ace: What Will He Add To Maresca’s Side?
In a recent report, Fichajes revealed that Manchester City are ready to move in for Barcelona ace Fermin Lopez. It has been mentioned that the Mancunian giants are preparing to launch a €170m move to sign the Spanish talent this off-season.
Lopez’s Impressive Numbers In La Liga
Lopez enjoyed a productive campaign at the Catalan club as he produced a series of eye-catching performances for Barcelona in the final third. The Spanish talent banged in 13 goals and picked up 17 assist in 48 matches for the Catalan club last season in various competitions.
The 23-year-old is currently among the most talented playmakers in La Liga. Hence, Man City would do well to get a deal done for him this off-season.
His current contract at the Nou Camp will run out in the summer of 2031, which could make it difficult for the Mancunian giants to sign him on a cut-price deal in this transfer window.

What Will Lopez Add To Chelsea Boss Enzo Maresca’s Side?
Lopez is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with it out in the wide areas. He has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and can shoot the ball with power from long range.
The Spanish sensation can even contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top. Lopez mainly operates as an attacking midfielder but can also serve as a left-sided wide player or as a box-to-box midfielder if required. However, there are some question marks over whether he can adapt to the physical style and high intensity of the Premier League if Man City manage to get him on board this summer.
We can expect Lopez to add more firepower to Enzo Maresca’s frontline. He has what it takes to nail down a regular starting place at the Etihad Stadium next season.
At 23, Lopez has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a good choice for Man City to pursue in this transfer period. However, Maresca has to give him some time to adjust to life in England before he can get the best out of the player at the Mancunian club.
