Pittsburgh Steelers wideout DK Metcalf and his legal situation involving the Detroit Lions fan has received a major update.

According to Fox 2 Detroit's David Komer, Metcalf won't be facing criminal charges stemming from his physical altercation with Lions fan Ryan Kennedy in Week 16.

"After an extensive review of all the relevant evidence, the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office has determined that charges will not be issued in this case. The warrant request is denied," Prosecutor Kym Worthy said in a statement via Komer.

During the Steelers' road matchup against the Lions at Ford Field, Metcalf was spotted reaching up into the stands, grabbing Kennedy by his shirt, and pushing him back. Metcalf was suspended two games for his involvement in the incident.
