League sources have conveyed with increasing volume this week that Orlando's interest in San Antonio's Sean Sweeney to fill its coaching vacancy is more serious than previously known. "They're very interested," said one league coaching source. The Magic's plan, league sources say, was to travel to San Antonio during the Spurs' Western Conference finals showdown with the Thunder to meet face-to-face with Sweeney while he is engaged in an active playoff run.
