Jan. 9—BRAINERD — The Lumberjacks needed all the points they could get Thursday night.
The Bemidji High School gymnastics team defeated Brainerd 127.85-126.425 in an evenly-matched contest.
Taylor Hanks was arguably Bemidji's best gymnast Thursday night, placing second in all-around with a score of 32.85. She took second on vault and beam while taking third on the floor.
Ella Dahl finished right behind her, finishing third in all-around. She placed third on beam and fifth on floor and vault.
Other Jacks had good finishes on the night. Mariah Johnson took second on floor and third on vault, while Stella Schoonover took second on bars. Aydah Fultz also placed fourth on vault.
