Former Bayern Munich transfer target Luka Vušković is set to sign his contract with Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday.
The fee will be €53 million in fixed cost, plus the potential for €5 million in add-ons. A far cry from the nine-figure sum that Spurs fans were hoping for when rumors started to swirl that Tottenham Hotspur was open to selling the young Croatian. Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg had the report:
Today is Luka Vuskovic day at Brighton. Medical and the signing of his contract until 2031 are scheduled.
Brighton’s dream signing is set to be finalised today. Transfer fee: around €53m fixed plus €5m in add-ons. Tottenham have also secured a 20% sell-on clause.
The deal was negotiated by super agent Pini Zahavi and his team. Fabian Hürzeler has been a key factor.

Hürzeler’s role in convincing Vušković to join cannot be overlooked. This is a big swing for Brighton and the 19-year-old will be counted upon to be game-ready for the upcoming season.
