The women's college basketball transfer portal still has at least one big name on the roster, and the LSU Tigers are keeping their figurative fingers crossed in hopes of adding another top prospect.
LSU has already lost Aneesah Morrow to the WNBA. Sa'Myah Smith (Virginia), Last-Tear Poa (Arizona State), Aalyah Del Rosario (Vanderbilt), Jersey Wolfenbarger (Tennessee) and Mjracle Sheppard (uncommitted) are gone via the transfer portal.
However, the Tigers have added Kate Koval (Notre Dame), Amiya Joyner (East Carolina) and MiLaysia Fulwiley (South Carolina) from the transfer list.
Head coach Kim Mulkey would love to add Serah Williams from Wisconsin as the team is unsure where the two-time First-team All-Big Ten player is headed for the 2025 season.
The Badgers' standout averaged 19.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.1 steals, and 2.3 blocks per game over 30 games last season. The 6-foot-4 forward was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year last year.
CBS Sports rated Williams as the No. 4 player in their transfer portal player rankings. They detail how the Wisconsin product was "able to produce at a level many couldn't match" and "the most productive big in the country."
Earlier this month, Williams visited LSU as part of an official visit.

LSU also added Fulwiley out of South Carolina, who appears at No. 10 in CBS Sports player rankings
The Tigers will lean heavily on Flau'jae Johnson and Mikaylah Williams in this upcoming season. The duo finished as the second and third-leading scorers last season. Johnson averaged 18.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.7 steals per game, and Williams contributed 17.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.

From what I've been told, as of 4/25/24, 3:15 pm, @LSUwbkb doesn't really have a feel on what direction Serah Williams is heading yet. Williams is set to visit reigning national champion UCONN early next week. Certainly Williams would be very nice icing on the cake for #LSU.
