Lou Holtz' orange face?

Have any of y'all been watching some ESPN college football thus far? What in the name of the Good Lord happened to Lou Holtz' face? Please don't go telling me it is TV makeup! So far, the possible explanations appear to be:

1 - Mr. Holtz is in the process of suing his taning salon for gross negligence, after they inadvertently locked him in the taning bed for a full 8 hour shift?

2 - Based upon the US Government's recent public admission that area 51 exists, Mr. Holtz paid a visit, only to be abducted by aliens who flew him a little too close to the Sun.

What else could possibly explain the color of his facial skin? What color on the crayola spectrum is that anyway??

He could have a liver disease. I've seen it in people with jaundice. I hope that isn't what it is.
