Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is currently in a rehabilitation program as legal allegations surrounding him continue to surface.

Puka Nacua enters rehab amid legal controversy
In a statement shared by Ian Rapoport, Nacua’s attorney Levi McCathern addressed the situation.
“Puka takes responsibility for his well-being and increasing his performance during the off-season,” McCathern said. “So, in early March – before any temporary restraining order was filed by Madison Atiabi and subsequently denied by the Court – Puka voluntarily entered a holistic care facility to focus on his personal growth.
McCathern added: “He is committed to using this time constructively so that he can return in the best possible position – both personally and professionally – to continue contributing to his team and the game he loves. He will complete the program in plenty of time to be involved in all of the Rams OTAs.”
The statement emphasizes that Nacua’s decision to enter the program was voluntary and made prior to the legal developments.
It also suggests that his timeline remains aligned with a return to team activities. For now, the focus remains on his time away from the field.

McCathern also commented on the broader situation and the support surrounding the Rams star.
“Puka is also deeply grateful for the support he has received from his family, friends, Coach McVay, and his teammates,” he continued.
McCathern concluded, stating: “It is unfortunate that a trivial lawsuit has drawn attention to Puka during a time when he is focused on becoming a better overall person. I am really excited to see what the future holds for this gifted young man.”
The comments reflect a strong defense of Nacua while acknowledging the attention the case has received.
