Adding veteran guard Alijah Vera-Tucker to the offensive line creates major changes across the board for the New England Patriots ahead of the 2026 NFL season.

Vera-Tucker, a former first-round draft pick, is a versatile offensive lineman with experience playing on the right and left side. Mike Onwenu has firmly established himself as the right guard, which leaves a vacancy on the left side. The Patriots tried to fill it by moving then-rookie center Jared Wilson to guard last season.

However, with the team trading Garrett Bradbury, they can now move Wilson back to his natural position at center, leaving the left guard position open for Vera-Tucker to slot into it.

Will Campbell is expected to continue working in as the starting left tackle. He was solid as a rookie, up until he went down with an MCL injury late in the season. That injury significantly impacted his ability on the field when he returned for the postseason run.

On the right side, Morgan Moses was a reliable contributor throughout the season, but he turned 35 years old in early March. The team might consider looking for his future replacement in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Let's take a look at the Patriots' projected offensive line combination for next season.
