COCHRANTON — Cochranton junior Walker Carroll struck out 17 and Brayden Burnette had five RBIs in a 9-0 shutout over Cambridge Springs on Wednesday.
Carroll allowed one hit and no walks in a complete game effort. Carroll, Field and Burnette each had two hits.
Cochranton moved to 5-5 overall and 5-2 in region action. The Cardinals are scheduled to play at Saegertown on Friday.
Cambridge Springs is scheduled to host Rocky Grove on Friday. The Blue Devils are 2-5 overall and 1-4 in region play.
