JAMESTOWN — Saegertown shutout Jamestown 17-0 in a Region 3 game at Jamestown High School on Monday.
Tyler Cherpak and William Shaffer combined for a three-inning shutout. Wyatt Burchill, Blake Leslie and William Shaffer each had multiple hits.
Saegertown is 4-1 overall and 3-0 in region action. The Panthers are scheduled to play at Cambridge Springs today.

Alex Wilpula and Tyler Bland combined for the shutout. Wilpula secured 10 strikeouts and two walks with three hits allowed. Bland pitched to the final two batters of the game and secured the win with a fly out.

The 'Dogs trailed 4-2 entering the seventh inning before Bradyn Miller's RBI single scored Colin Reichel. McDowell got out of the jam with a fielder's choice and a strikeout.
Ian Miller got the start on the mound and struck out five and allowed two earned runs.
Meadville is 3-4 overall and 2-2 in region games. The 'Dogs are scheduled to host Harbor Creek on Wednesday.
