Mar. 15—WATERTOWN — Zach White scored two of the Carolina Thunderbirds' four goals in the first period en route to the 7-1 victory over the Watertown Wolves in a Federal Prospects Hockey League game Friday before a crowd of 871 at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena.
Joe Cangelosi and Roman Kraemer also scored in the period for Carolina, in first place in the Continental Division with a 32-8-4 mark. Kalib "Gus" Ford, who scored consecutive goals in the second and third periods for the Thunderbirds, assisted on two of the first-period goals.
Kraemer finished with four assists and Joseph Kennedy contributed two.
Chase DiBari scored the lone goal for the Wolves with 1:27 left in the first period. Jimmy Lodge and Carter Thornton assisted.
The Wolves (20-18-3) lost their second straight at home after falling to the Danbury Hat Tricks, 5-2, on Friday.
Watertown's next game is at home against the Binghamton Black Bears next Friday.
