Liverpool target makes decision ahead of blockbuster January move
Jens Hjerto-Dahl chooses his next club amid Liverpool interest
As mentioned, due to Liverpool's poor form, several players have been brought up as potential transfer targets.
The most frequently mentioned of the bunch is Adam Wharton with the Crystal Palace midfielder attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in the world.
Real Madrid's Eduardo Camavinga is another name which has been linked with an Anfield switch but at the moment, these seem to just be rumours.
However, links with Tromso midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl have recently emerged, and, since he's only 20 years old and would be available for a cut-rate fee, a deal could be on for the Norweigian.
Liverpool's interest in the 20-year-old has been documented for some time but, taking to his personal X account, journalist Marco Conterio has shared an update on where the future of the midfielder could lie.
"Half of Europe on Jens Hjerto-Dahl: but the Norwegian talent only wants Besiktas," he wrote.
"As anticipated, the Norwegian gem Jens Hjertø-Dahl is one of the most sought-after players on the European market but he only wants Besiktas.
"The 2005 Norwegian has a long queue, Bournemouth even made a bigger offer than the Turks to Tromsø but Hjerto-Dahl only wants Besiktas, also because of the huge affection he has received from the fans in the last few hours.
"Lazio, Glasgow Rangers, Union Berlin, in the Premier League also Liverpool and Everton and not only the teams that have emerged just in the last few hours on the player besides the Cherries.
"The Norwegian has put everything on hold because he is only waiting for the final details of the Tromsø-Besiktas agreement."
