Live: Colorado state track and field meet hits Championship Saturday

LAKEWOOD — They're coming to the finish line at the 2026 Colorado state track & field championship meet.

The annual Centennial State track extravaganza hits Championship Saturday on May 16 as some of the most prominent racing events in the state take center stage.

It's a final day full of short sprints and quicker relays, with some major events like pole vault and triple jump in the high classifications on the field.

There are plenty of points still on the table on Championship Saturday, so the team title races are heating up.

Here are all the Saturday running finals at the 2025 Colorado state track & field championships:

• 9:30-10:04 a.m.: 110-meter hurdles (All classes, boys and girls, alternating every 4-6 minutes)
• 10:30-11 a.m.: 100-meter dash (All classes, boys and girls, alternating every 3-4 minutes)
• 11:10-11:20 a.m.: 1600 meters (4A boys and girls)
• 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.: 400-meter dash (All classes, boys and girls, alternating every 3-4 minutes)
• 12:10-12:20 p.m.: 1600 meters (1A boys and girls)
• 12:50-1 p.m.: 1600 meters (2A boys and girls)
• 1:10-1:46 p.m.: 200 dash (All classes, boys and girls, alternating every 4 minutes)
• 2-2:34 p.m.: 300 hurdles (All classes, boys and girls, alternating every 4-6 minutes)
• 2:45-2:55 p.m.: 1600 meters (5A boys and girls)
• 3:05-3:50 p.m.: 4x100 relay (All classes, boys and girls, alternating every 5 minutes)

Fort Collins got its first city individual champion since 2023 with a Rocky Mountain throwing taking the 5A shot put title to go along with numerous podium finishes.
