The Detroit Lions, according to NFL Network, have agreed to terms with veteran offensive lineman Larry Borom, a fifth-round draft pick in 2021 who spent his first four seasons with the Chicago Bears before starting 11 games at right tackle for the Miami Dolphins in 2025.

Borom allowed 15 pressures and two sacks for the Dolphins last season. He's a Detroit native (Birmingham Brother Rice) who has NFL experience at four of the offensive line's five positions, seeing reps at right tackle (1,709 career snaps), left tackle (788), left guard (42) and right guard (20) over his five years in the league.

That's now two offensive linemen who the Lions have agreed to terms with Monday, as they also are also set to sign center Cade Mays from the Carolina Panthers on a three-year deal worth $25 million. The NFL's legal tampering period opened at noon on Monday, but contracts cannot be made official until the new league year begins at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Borom played collegiately at Missouri (2017-20), where he started 16 games at tackle and three at guard.
