Thursday's injury report following the Detroit Lions' second practice session of the week looks a lot better than the first edition. After an estimated practice availability report on Wednesday, Thursday saw the Lions take to the practice field with a healthier unit.

Three players who were sidelined on Wednesday made limited appearances on Thursday, and they're important ones: safety Brian Branch (toe), right tackle Penei Sewell (ankle) and left tackle Taylor Decker (shoulder). In addition to those starters upgrading, tight end Brock Wright also improved from limited participant to full participant with his ankle malady.

Defensive end Marcus Davenport, who remains on injured reserve with a designation to return, is also among the 10 players who earned limited status. That grouping also includes two other players who are not on the active roster but are within their 21-day activation windows: DE Josh Paschal and CB D.J. Reed. In addition, the Lions also began the return clock for CB Khalil Dorsey, and he was a full participant. Dorsey has been on I.R. with a broken wrist.
