Allen ParkDetroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold has been practicing with the team this offseason, but not in a full capacity.

Arnold, whose last appearance in 2025 came against the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving, has been dealing with a shoulder injury since October, when he left early in Detroit's win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Arnold returned to the lineup about one month later but was re-injured versus the Packers in Week 13, ending his second season.

"Right now, I would say I'm at about 75-80%," Arnold said Wednesday. "I think the main thing for me is just knowing that I am healthy now. … Just being able to go out there and enter (training) camp knowing that I had the surgeries, got worked on, feeling better. I'm ready for that."

The Lions wrapped up their offseason program on Wednesday, finishing their second and final day of mandatory minicamp. The team will next be together during training camp, which begins in late July. Arnold participated at mandatory minicamp and at OTAs earlier this offseason, but he was limited. When present, he often went through walk-throughs with the second and third teams.

Lions coach Dan Campbell said the biggest thing for Arnold at this point in the offseason is getting healthy. Campbell added: "We’ve got a lot of good guys in that (cornerback) room, and he knows this, he's got to go earn it."

Asked about Campbell's comments and the pressure they put on him, Arnold pushed back.

"I wouldn't say it's pressure," he said. "I feel like, when you go out here in the NFL, competition breeds excellence. … (The front office's) job is to go out there and find guys to come into the room to push the guys. When you go out there and you have environments like that, that's environments that I thrive in. … That's what the NFL is all about.

"If you don't have that or if you don't have coaches who are going out there trying to find guys to replace you, to push you, it's not going to get the best out of you."

Arnold was also asked whether he had anything to say related to his connection to an off-the-field incident in February. He replied, "I just want to focus on football," and said he's comfortable with those in his circle.

"There really hasn't been advice, as far as issues like that," Arnold said, when asked what Campbell's advice to him has been about handling off-field issues. "But I mean, just having everybody in the building's support, and obviously knowing that you have a coach that will go to bat for you, it means everything. It was the same thing when I came here and I got drafted. Brad (Holmes) always said, 'When you come here, man, this is a family.' This is the building and the type of stuff that you want to be in. A lot of guys preach that, but honestly this place feels like home."
