The Lions officially announced their inactives for Week 15 against the Los Angeles Rams.
As expected, safeties Kerby Joseph (knee) and Thomas Harper (concussion) are both out. Joseph was viewed as a candidate for injured reserve but has not yet been placed on the list, so he remains on the 53-man roster and among the inactives today. Brian Branch was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
Offensive lineman Kayode Awosika is out again with a foot injury, missing his second straight game. Christian Mahogany returned to practice this week but remains on injured reserve, so Trystan Colon and Miles Frazier will likely continue to rotate at guard.
The rest of the inactives are defensive linemen Tyler Lacy and Mekhi Wingo, wide receiver Dominic Lovett and cornerback Nick Whiteside.
Tight end Shane Zylstra, who was activated from injured reserve Saturday, is active.
