The 2026 World Cup final is now set and it’s Lionel Messi’s Argentina up against Spain in a game that will be a real treat for Barcelona fans.
Messi’s aiming to win back-to-back titles with Argentina but will come up against a Spain side that has eight Barcelona players in the squad.
The game is likely to be billed as Lionel Messi vs Lamine Yamal as the GOAT faces Barcelona’s current No. 10 and the player many have tipped to follow in the club legend’s footsteps at Camp Nou.
Yet there are plenty other Barcelona players who could feature and play a key role. Dani Olmo and Pau Cubarsi look certain starters, while Pedri, Ferran Torres and Gavi will be desperately hoping for minutes.
